World No. 30 and Asia’s No. 6 Gilas Pilipinas Women will continue its bid for an Asian Games podium finish against Asia’s No. 21 Hong Kong, China on Sunday, September 20, at 9:00 a.m. PHT at Aichi International Arena (IG Arena) in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan.

Gilas Pilipinas Women will look to improve on its fifth-place finish at the 2023 Asian Games, despite missing key players Vanessa de Jesus, Jack Animam, and Sophia Dignadice. The Philippines will draw added size and firepower from naturalized 6-foot Elizabeth Means.

Kacey Dela Rosa will also miss the five-on-five tournament as she joins the women’s 3x3 squad, while Louna Ozar is competing in the FIBA 3x3 U23 World Cup in Wuhan, China.
