TNT dethrones Ginebra, 97-93, wins first-ever PBA Governors' Cup title (VIDEO) Finals Game 6 | April 21

TNT Tropang GIGA dethrones the crowd-favorite Barangay Ginebra, 97-93 in Game 6 of their best-of-7 final series to win the 2023 PBA Governors' Cup title on Friday, April 21 in front of 13,588-crowd at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.

Hot-shooting Finals MVP Mikey Williams led the Tropang Giga with game-high 38 points on 14-of-27 shooting from the field including 9-of-18 from beyond the arc along with seven rebounds and dishing out three assists. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson had a double-double of 29 points (10/25fg, 8/9ft), to go with game-high 14 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals as the TNT claim its first-ever PBA Governors' Cup crown!

TNT shot 37-of-87 from the field, including 11-of-36 from the three-point line while Ginebra shot 34-of-78 from the field and 5-of-19 from beyond the arc. TNT went 12-of-18 from the free throw line, while Ginebra went 20-of-26. The Tropang Giga outrebounded Ginebra 51-47 while the GinKings had more assists, 25-16.
