Basketball at the 2019 SEA Games will feature an eight-team men's 5x5 event (Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Singapore, Cambodia and Malaysia) and a 4-team women's 5x5 event (Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines).
The Basketball 5x5 tournament will be held from December 4 to 10 at the Mall of Asia Arena while the 3x3 event will be at the Filoil Flying V Center in San Juan on December 1-2.
