Gilas endured a poor first quarter, trailing by as many as 18 points and falling behind the Falcons, 28–14, but fought back by outscoring Jordan, 25–16, in the second quarter. Jordan also had the hot hand from beyond the arc in the first half, knocking down 10 three-pointers compared to just two for Gilas.
