Despite holding a twice-to-beat advantage against Meralco, the Elasto Painters absorbed another tough loss, falling 98–89 in their do-or-die matchup. The Bolts claimed the last semifinals spot and will face TNT Tropang 5G in a best-of-seven series starting January 4.
