Ginebra completed the comeback with a thrilling 99–98 overtime victory, sealed by a game-winning three by Stephen Holt to clinch a semifinals berth. The Gin Kings earlier forced a do-or-die game with a dominant 105–85 win on Christmas Day before escaping the FiberXers in an OT nail-biter. Awaiting Ginebra in the semifinals are the San Miguel Beermen.
