The Barangay Ginebra (3-1) used a strong second half to beat the Magnolia Timplados Hotshots (1-1) and secure their third win in the 2024 PBA Philippine Cup on Easter Sunday, March 31 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Stanley Pringle Jr. led the Gin Kings in scoring with 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including 3-of-7 from beyond the arc, to go along with six assists and a steal. Japeth Aguilar was one rebound shy of a double-double of 16 points (7/16 fg), nine rebounds, three assists, and a block.
Maverick Ahanmisi added 16 points, three rebounds, four assists, and a steal while Christian Standhardinger was three assists shy of a triple-double with 11 points, fourteen rebounds, seven assists in 39 minutes of play. Jamie Malonzo had 11 points, nine rebounds, two assists, three steals, and a block.
