Magnolia Timplados Hotshots defeated the San Miguel Beermen, 88-80 in Game 3, trimming their series deficit to 2-1 in their Best-of-7 Finals series of the 2023-24 PBA Commissioner's Cup on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. [VIDEO]

Magnolia secured their first series win by employing a balanced scoring attack and a strong defense, snapping the 11-game winning streak of the Beermen and dealing SMB its first loss with Bennie Boatwright as its import. Additionally, they managed to limit San Miguel to under 100 points, as the Beermen shot 34% from the field with 28-of-82 shooting.

Six Hotshots scored in double digits, with veteran Mark Barroca leading the way with 20 points, four rebounds, six assists, and two steals. The Hotshots shot 45% on 38-of-84 shooting, including 6-of-14 from beyond the arc.

Finals Game 4 is on Friday, February 9, at the Araneta Coliseum at 7:30pm.
