The NLEX Road Warriors, coming from behind and overcoming a 19-point deficit, escaped past the San Miguel Beermen, 117-113 in overtime, to secure their first win in the 2023-24 PBA Commissioner's Cup on Wednesday, November 15, at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

Kris Rosales was on fire from beyond the arc hitting three consecutive three-pointers that ultimately led the game into overtime. Rosales finished with 19 points (0/2 2pts, 6/7 3pts, 1/2ft), along with 1 rebound, and 4 assists.

Road Warriors import Thomas Robinson led all scorers with a significant double-double, scoring 42 points on 14-of-29 shooting. He also contributed 20 rebounds, 5 assists, and a block, while Kevin Alas added 18 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals.

Vintage Terrence Romeo led SMB in a losing effort with 28 points (10/22FG, 6/15 2pts, 4/7 3pts, 4/5ft), 1 rebound, 6 assists and a steal. CJ Perez had 25 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal, while Fajardo tallied a double-double of 22 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, and 4 blocks. Additionally, import Ivan Aska contributed 21 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals.
