Hiroshima Dragonflies (32-12) leaned on a balanced attack to beat the Toyama Grouses (8-36), 81-70 in the Japan B.League 2023 on Saturday, March 25 at the Kurobe City General Education Center in Toyama, Japan. [Full Japan B.League Schedule - CLICK HERE]
Import Nick Mayo led the Dragonflies with 21 points, eight rebounds and seven assists while Dwayne Evans had a double-double of 19 points, ten rebounds and three assists. Kai Sotto finished with 4 points (2/5fg) along with nine rebounds, six assists, one steal, two blocks with three turnovers in 24 minutes of play.
Former PBA/TNT import Joshua Smith paced the Grouses in the losing effort with a double-double of 17 points (7/11fg, 3/12ft), to go with twelve rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks.
