Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU) Blue Eagles survive the gritty University of the Philippines (UP) Fighting Maroons, 65-55 in Game 2 of their best-of-3 Men's Basketball Finals in the 2022 UAAP Season 85 on Wednesday, December 14 in front of 20,616 fans at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.
Ange Kouame led the Blue Eagles with a double-double performace of game-high 19 points (8/14fg, 1/4 3pts, 2/2ft) along with 11 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks. Kai Ballungay with solid game of 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting to go with 5 rebounds, 1 steal and a block in 20 minutes of play. Forthsky Padrigao had 11 points, 7 rebounds and 3 steals while Geo Chiu and Matt Daves added 6 points each.
Do-or-die Finals Game 3 is on Monday, December 19 at the SMART Araneta Coliseum at 6:00pm.
