Asia’s No. 8 Alas Pilipinas Women swept Asia’s No. 12 Singapore in straight sets, 25-13, 25-8, 25-18, and advanced to the semifinals of the 2025 Southeast Asian Games women’s indoor volleyball event on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the Indoor Stadium Huamark in Bangkok, Thailand. Alas now hold a 1-1 record and finished second in Group A, behind Thailand (2-0). Vietnam defeated Indonesia for the top spot in Group B, setting up a semifinal showdown between Alas Pilipinas and Vietnam. The other semifinal bracket will feature Thailand against Indonesia. Both semifinal matches will be played on Sunday, December 14.
