Following back-to-back losses to open their FIBA Asia Cup 2025 campaign, Gilas Pilipinas Men (1-2) finally won a game, defeating Iraq (0-3) 66-57 to finish 3rd in Group D on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the King Abdullah Sports City in Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Gilas now awaits their next opponent in the qualification round for the quarterfinals on Monday, August 11, against the No. 2 team of Group C, which is composed of Jordan, Saudi Arabia, India, and China.
