Juami Tiongson and Stephen Holt lead TerraFirma Bossing to beat the Converge FiberXers, 107-99 and to open their 2024 PBA Philippine Cup campaign on a winning note on Friday, March 1 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Terrafirma snaps an 8-game losing streak that extended to the previous conference, securing a victory against the Converge team it had previously failed to defeat in their first four encounters.

Juami Tiongson led the way with 30 points (10/21FG, 4/12 3pt, 6/6ft), to go along with 5 rebounds, two assists, and a steal. Stephen Holt finished with a double-double of 27 points (12/19FG, 10/12 2pt, 2/7 3pt, 1/1ft), a game-high 10 rebounds, four assists, and five steals while Isaac Go added 13 points, 5 rebounds, and a steal.

"I just wanted to build off of my last game. I just went back straight to work. I stayed in Manila, I didn't go back to the United States. I didn't go on vacation. I was here in the gym, weights every single day until we started training," said the 32-year-old Stephen Holt, the first overall pick in the 2023 PBA Rookie Draft.

"So for me, I've been a pro for 10 years, playing in high level leagues. The work is always gonna show. So I just gotta stay consistent in my role and know, whether the shots falls, I just gotta be a leader for this group." Holt added.
