Magnolia eliminates Phoenix, 89-79 in Game 4, advances to finals against San Miguel

The top-seeded Magnolia Timplados Hotshots eliminate the No.4 seed Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters, 89-79 in Game 4, to win the series at 3-1 in their Best-of-5 semifinals series of the 2023-24 PBA Commissioner's Cup on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. [VIDEO]

Mark Barroca led the Hotshots in scoring with 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the field, including 4-of-6 from beyond the arc, to go along with 4 rebounds, and 5 assists. Tyler Bey had a huge double-double game of 20 points, 20 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and a block while Ian Sangalang added 12 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and one block.

Magnolia advances to best-of-seven finals series against the well-rested San Miguel Beermen. Finals Game 1 is on Friday, February 2 at the Mall of Asia Arena at 7:30pm.
