Bay Area Dragons (9-2) escapes past Magnolia Timplados Hotshots (8-2), 95-89 to grab their 9th win in the 2022-23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on Saturday, November 19 at the PhilSports Arena.
Myles Powell led the Dragons with a double-double performance of 32 points (10/24fg, 5/12 3pts, 7/8ft) along with 11 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in 44 minutes of play. Glen Yang with another solid game of 19 points to go with 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals while Songwei Zhu added 15 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and a steal.
Nicholas Rakocevic paced the Hotshots with a double-double of 26 points, game-high 19 rebounds, 1 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks while Jio Jalalon with an all-around game of 19 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.
