Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles (10-3) escapes past UP Fighting Maroons (11-3), 75-67 thriller to grab their 10th win and to clinch twice-to-beat advantage in the Final Four of the 2022 UAAP Season 85 - Men's Basketball on Saturday, November 26 at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.
Both Ateneo and UP will have the twice-to-beat advantage in the Final Four.
Dave Ildefonso led the Blue Eagles with 15 points (3/11fg, 3/9 3pts, 6/9ft) and 7 rebounds in 34 minutes of play to extend their winning-streak to five. Ange Kouame finished with a double-double of 14 points on 6-of-8 shooting along with game-high 17 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks while Rence Padrigao added 13 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal.
