University of the Philippines (UP) Fighting Maroons escapes past Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU) Blue Eagles, 76-71 in overtime thriller to grab their fourth win in the 2022 UAAP Season 85 - Men's Basketball on Sunday, October 16 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Carl Tamayo led UP with a huge double-double of 20 points (7/16fg) along with 13 rebounds, 3 assists and a block in 34 minutes of play. James Spencer finished with 14 points, 6 rebounds and an assist while Malick Diouf added 12 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.
