Gilas Pilipinas Women Youth U18 (3-0) defeated Maldives women U18 national team (0-3), 110-28 to clinch an outright semifinals berth in the 2022 FIBA U18 Women's Asian Championship (Division B) on Wednesday, September 7 at the Koramangala Indoor Stadium in Bangalore, India.

5'8" Louna Ozar led the Philippines in scoring with game-high 22 points on 11-of-15 shooting along with 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 steals in 17 minutes of play. Kalynee Reigne Abraham with a solid double-double game of 11 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals while Kate Colyn Bobadilla added 17 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and a steal to help Gilas sweep the group phase.

PHL shot 40/104 (38%) from the field, including 6-of-40 shooting from beyond the arc (MDV - 10/40fg, 8/26 3pts), and Gilas went 24-of-39 from the free throw line (MDV - 0/2 ft). Maldives had 64 turnovers while Gilas had 16. PHL outrebounded MDV, 62-40, PHL recorded more steals (40-6) and assists, 28-9.

Gilas Women (3-0) advances to the knockout semifinal game on September 10 and will now awaits the winner between Thailand (1-2) and Malaysia (1-2). [LIVE]
