Alas Pilipinas is gearing up to carry the flag in the 2025 SEA Games indoor volleyball competition, set for December 10–15 for the women and December 13–19 for the men at the Indoor Stadium Huamark in Bangkok, Thailand.
UPDATE: Alas Women fell to Thailand in straight sets but bounced back with a straight-sets victory over Singapore. They later lost to Vietnam in the semifinals and suffered a tough four-set defeat to Indonesia in the bronze medal match.
Meanwhile, in the men’s indoor volleyball event, the Alas Men are in Group B and won their opener against Myanmar in straight sets. They will play Indonesia on December 16, with head coach Angiolino Frigoni leading the team.
