Blackwater Bossing (1-0) survive the NLEX Road Warriors (0-1), 93-88 in the opening day of the 2023 PBA On Tour - Preseason on Sunday, May 21 at the Caloocan Sports Complex.
Mike Ayonayon led the Bossing in scoring with 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the field including 2-of-4 from behind the arc and perfect 2-of-2 from the line, along with 2 rebounds and 2 assists in 18 minutes of play. Rey Suerte had a solid game of 14 points (5/8fg, 2/5 3pts, 2/2ft), to go with 2 assists and 1 steal while RK Ilagan added 9 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and a steal.
The PBA preseason games will resume on Wednesday, May 24th, at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City. The first game will be NorthPort vs. Meralco at 5:00pm, followed by Phoenix vs. San Miguel at 7:30pm. [LIVE]
