TNT def. Ginebra, 104-95, takes 3-2 lead (VIDEO) PBA Finals Game 5 | April 19

TNT Tropang GIGA defeated the crowd-favorite Barangay Ginebra, 104-95 in Game 5 to take a commanding 3-2 lead in their best-of-7 final series in the 2023 PBA Governors' Cup on Wednesday, April 19 in front of 10,070-crowd at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson led the Tropang Giga with a huge triple-double output of 32 points to go with 16 rebounds, 10 assists, 2 steals and a block. Calvin Oftana had a solid game of 20 points (8/20fg, 4/9 3pts) along with 8 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal while Mikey Williams had 15 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and a block.

As per SPIN, due to a severe case of food poisoning, Justin Brownlee had to exit the game late in the third quarter, leaving the Gin Kings without their import during the crucial stretch of Game Five.
