Ginebra def. TNT, 117-103, takes 2-1 lead (VIDEO) PBA Finals Game 3 | April 14

Hot-shooting Barangay Ginebra defeated TNT Tropang GIGA, 117-103 in Game 3 to take a 2-1 lead in their best-of-7 final series in the 2023 PBA Governors' Cup on Friday, April 14 at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.

36-year-old Stanley Pringle Jr. had a perfect shooting game with 22 points on 7-of-7 shooting from the field including 6-of-6 from beyond the arc and 2-of-2 from the line along with three rebounds and three assists in 29 minutes of play. Justin Brownlee bounces back from a rare subpar scoring performance in Game 2 finished with team-high 29 points (11/19FG, 8/14 2pts, 3/5 3pts, 4/4ft) to go with eight rebounds, five assists, one steal and a block.

Jamie Malonzo had a double-double performance of 27 points (8/15fg, 6/9 3pts, 5/8ft), ten rebounds and a block while Scottie Thompson had 16 points, five rebounds, ten assists, two steals and a block. Christian Standhardinger added 16 points, ten rebounds and five assists.

Ginebra shot 43-of-77 from the field, including 18-of-32 shooting from beyond the arc (TNT - 42/83 fg, 11/29 3pts), and Ginebra went 13-of-16 from the free throw line (TNT - 8/14ft). Gin Kings had 16 turnovers while the Tropang Giga had 11. Ginebra outrebounded TNT, 42-34 and the GinKings had more assists, 27-18.

Game 4 is on Sunday, April 16 (6:00pm) at Araneta.
