TNT Tropang GIGA defeated the Meralco Bolts, 99-80 in Game 3 to take a commanding 2-1 lead in their best-of-5 semifinal series in the 2023 PBA Governors' Cup on Wednesday, March 29 at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson led the Tropang Giga with a huge double-double of 40 points (14/27fg, 2/4 3pts, 10/12ft), thirteen rebounds, two assists and one steal. Mikey Williams, the only local player to finish in double figures, finished with 29 points on 9-of-21 shooting from the field including 6-of-15 from beyond the arc and 5-of-6 from the line to go with one rebound and three assists while RR Pogoy and Jayson Castro added 7 points apiece.
Semis Game 4 is on Friday, March 31 at 5:45pm at the Big Dome.
