Twice-to-beat Barangay Ginebra eliminates import-less NLEX Road Warriors, 127-93 in the quarterfinals of the 2023 PBA Governors' Cup on Sunday, March 19 at the SMART Araneta Coliseum. NLEX import Wayne Selden Jr. out due to a right midfoot sprain.
Justin Brownlee led the GinKings balanced attack with 31 points on 14-of-20 shooting from the field including 3-of-7 from beyond the arc along with thirteen rebounds, six assists, four steals and a block. Christian Standhardinger had another solid output of 20 points, eight rebounds and two assists while Jamie Malonzo added 20 points (4/5 3pts) to go with six rebounds, five assists and two steals.
Ginebra advances to the best-of-5 semifinals against the San Miguel Beermen.
