Barangay Ginebra (8-2) escapes past Terrafirma Dyip (2-9), 109-104 to grab their eight win and clinched a twice-to-beat advantage in quarterfinals of the 2023 PBA Governors' Cup on Wednesday, March 8 at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
Coach Time Cone uses seven-man rotation in the game led by Justin Brownlee with game-high 38 points on 15-of-23 shooting from the field including 2-of-7 from beyond the arc and perfect 6-of-6 from the line to go with three rebounds, six assists and five blocks in 44 minutes.
Christian Standhardinger had another double-double of 23 points (11/19fg), twelve rebounds and six assists while Jamie Malonzo added 16 points, thirteen rebounds, three assists and one block. Scottie Thompson finished with 13 points, five rebounds, three assists and a steal.
