Barangay Ginebra (6-2) defeated Phoenix Super LPG (4-6), 109-89 to grab their sixth win in the 2023 PBA Governors' Cup on Friday, March 3 at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.
Christian Standhardinger had another solid performance for the GinKings with 28 points (11/14fg, 6/8ft) to go with twelve rebounds, eight assists and a steal in 30 minutes of play. Justin Brownlee finished with a near triple-double of 18 points, eleven rebounds, six assists and two steals while Scottie Thompson added 16 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the field including 4-of-5 from beyond the arc along with three rebounds and four assists.
