Barangay Ginebra (7-2) defeated Converge FiberXers (6-5), 120-101 to grab their seventh win and stay in the hunt for a twice-to-beat advantage in the quarterfinals of the 2023 PBA Governors' Cup on Sunday, March 5 at the PhilSports Arena.
Jamie Malonzo, Christian Standhardinger and Justin Brownlee erupted for 85 points combined. Malonzo had a conference-high 29 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the field including three 3-pointers and 6-of-8 from the line to go with eight rebounds, five assists and a steal.
Brownlee finished with a near triple-double of 28 points, ten rebounds, seven assists, one steal and two blocks while Standhardinger also had a double-double of 28 points, ten rebounds, four assists and three steals.
