San Miguel Beermen (5-0) defeated Meralco Bolts (3-2), 94-86 to grab their fifth straight win in the 2023 PBA Governors' Cup on Thursday, February 9 at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.
Cameron Clark led the Beermen with a double-double performance of 28 points (11/20fg, 6/7ft) to go with twelve rebounds, five assists and one block to stay perfect under new head coach Jorge Gallent.
CJ Perez with another all-around game of 19 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals. Jericho Cruz had a solid output of 13 points, three rebounds and three assists while June Mar Fajardo finished with a double-double of his own with 11 points (4/9fg, 3/8ft) along with game-high fourteen rebounds, one assist and four blocks.
