Leonard Santillan drops in the game-winning layup with 0.7 seconds left off a pass from Rey Nambatac to lift the import-less Rain or Shine Elasto Painters (2-4) escapes past Terrafirma Dyip (2-4), 120-118 and grab their second win in the 2023 PBA Governors' Cup on Thursday, February 16 at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.

As per Tiebreaker Times, Rain or Shine was forced to play all-Filipino as import Greg Smith II has yet to gain clearance from the basketball federation of the Dominican Republic (FEDOMBAL).

Andrei Caracut led the EPainters in scoring with career-high 25 points on 9-of-13 shooting from the field including 6-of-8 from beyond the arc along with two rebounds and three assists in 27 minutes of play. Leonard Santillan finished with 21 points (6/11fg, 1/5 3pt, 8/11ft) to go with six rebounds and two assists while Gabe Norwood with a solid game of 18 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals. Rey Nambatac had 14 points, five rebounds and seven assists.
