Rain or Shine Elasto Painters (1-4) defeated Blackwater Bossing (1-5), 122-117 to grab their first win in the 2023 PBA Governors' Cup on Sunday, February 12 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Rain or Shine new import Greg Smith II led the ePainters with 38 points (9/17fg, 5/8 3pts, 15/25ft) along with six rebounds, five assists and one steal in 35 minutes of play. Leonard Santillan had a solid game of 16 points (7/11fg) to go with seven rebounds and one assist. Shaun Ildefonso, Nick Demusis and Beau Belga added 12 points apiece.
