Magnolia Timplados Hotshots (3-3) uses strong second half to beat the NLEX Road Warriors (4-2), 119-103 to grab their third straight win in the 2023 PBA Governors' Cup on Thursday, February 16 at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.
Antonio Hester led Magnolia with a huge double-double of 37 points on 15-of-19 shooting from the field including 2-of-2 from beyond the arc and 5-of-8 from the line along with fifteen rebounds, five assists and a block.
Five local players scored in double-digits for the Hotshots led by Jio Jalalon with near triple-double of 17 points (8/12fg) to go with nine rebounds, twelve assists and two steals in 32 minutes of play. Paul Lee had 18 points including four 3-pointers, four rebounds and four assists.
