San Miguel def. Converge, 114-96 (VIDEO) December 7 | PBA Quarterfinals Game 1

No. 5 San Miguel Beermen defeated the fourth-seeded Converge FiberXers, 114-96 in Game 1 of their best-of-3 quarterfinals series in the 2022-23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on Wednesday, December 7 at the PhilSports Arena.

CJ Perez led the Beermen in scoring with 25 points on 11-of-17 shooting to go with 4 rebounds, 3 assists and a steal. Devon Scott finished with a double-double of 23 points (7/15fg, 9/11ft) along with 12 rebouds, 5 assists and 3 steals in 40 minutes of play.

June Mar Fajardo added 19 points, game-high 16 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and a block while Terrence Romeo had 13 points (3/9fg, 1/4 3pts, 6/7ft), 1 rebound and 3 assists in 19 minutes.
