PBA guest team Bay Area Dragons (2-0) defeated the San Miguel Beermen (0-2), 114-95 in Game 2 to take a commanding 2-0 lead on their best-of-5 semifinal series in the 2022-23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on Friday, December 16 at the PhilSports Arena.
Andrew Nicholson led the Dragons with a huge double-double of 34 points (12/21fg, 6/9 3pts, 4/4ft) along with 16 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals. Kobey Lam with another solid game of 25 points on 10-of-13 shooting including four 3-pointers to go with 5 rebounds and 4 assists while Glen Yang added 13 points, 4 rebounds and game-high 8 assists.
June Mar Fajardo paced the Beermen with a double-double performance of game-high 35 points (15/20fg, 5/10ft), 10 rebounds, 1 assist and a block while Marcio Lassiter and Devon Scott added 15 points and 14 points, respectively.
Game 3 is on Sunday, December 18 at the PhilSports Arena at 4:30pm.
