Converge FiberXers defeated Terrafirma Dyip, 124-110 to grab their first win in the 2022-23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on Friday, September 23 at the PhilSports Arena. Coach Aldin Ayo wins his first game as PBA head coach.

Quincy Miller led the FiberXers with a huge double-double of 38 points (13/25fg, 5/13 3pts, 7/9ft) along with 16 rebounds, 5 asssits, 3 blocks and a steal in 39 minutes of play. Maverick Ahanmisi with a solid game of 18 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists and 1 steal.

Dyip import Lester Prosper, Indonesia's naturalized player, paced TerraFirma with a monster 43 points (15/32fg, 3/9 3pts, 10/12ft) to go with game-high 25 rebounds, 5 assists and a steal in 45 minutes of play. Joshua Munzon had 14 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists while veteran guard Alex Cabagnot who was sidelined for nine months after he tore his Achilles last December added 13 points (4/10fg, 1/2 3pts, 4/4 ft), 4 rebounds, game-high 8 assists in 39 minutes.
