Myles Blake Powell hits the game-winning three at the buzzer to lift the PBA guest team Bay Area Dragons escapes past NothPort Batang Pier, 105-104 to grab their second straight win in the 2022-23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on Saturday, September 24 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Myles Powell led the Dragons with another huge game of 37 points (11/28fg, 8/15 3pts, 7/10ft) to go with 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Hayden Blankley with a solid double-double game of 15 points (6/9fg, 2/3 3pts) along with 10 rebounds, 5 assists, a steal and a block while 7'5" Liu Chuanxing added 13 points on 6-of-7 shooting with 5 rebounds and a steal in 16 minutes of play.
Robert Bolick Jr. paced the Batang Pier with 33 points (11/25fg, 3/10 3pts, 8/9ft), 3 rebounds and 5 assists while Arvin Tolentino finished with double-double of 22pts (6/10fg, 3/5 3pts, 7/8ft), 10 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals.
The Dragons will play Phoenix on October 1 at the PhilSports Arena at 4:30pm.
