Meralco Bolts rallied from a 16-pt deficit to beat the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Master, 109-98 to grab their first win in the 2022 PBA Philippine Cup on Saturday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

Six Meralco players finished in double figures with Chris Newsome leading the way with 21 points (7/11 fg, 2/4 3pt, 5/7 ft) along with 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Aaron Black finished with 19 points including three 3-pointers, 3 rebounds and 1 asssist while 43-year-old Reynel Hugnatan provided a spark in the offense and added 17 points (6/10 fg, 3/5 3pt, 2/2 ft), 3 rebounds and 2 assists.
