Meralco eliminates Magnolia, 94-81, advances to finals (PBA Semifinals Game 5) April 1

Meralco Bolts defeated Magnolia Pambansang Manok Hotshots, 94-81 in Semis Game 5 of the 2021-2022 PBA Governors' Cup on Friday at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.

Allein Maliksi led the Bolts in scoring with game-high 24 points on 9-of-13 shooting including six 3-pointers along with 3 rebounds and 1 assist. Raymond Almazan with a perfect 9-of-9 from the field with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 1 assist. Chris Newsome was two rebounds shy of a triple double of 17 points, 12 assists, 8 rebounds, 3 steals and a block.

Meralco advances to the best-of-7 finals against Barangay Ginebra. PBA Finals Game 1 will starts on Wednesday, April 6 at the SMART Araneta Coliseum at 6:00pm. (PBA Finals Game Tickets Click here)
