Meralco Bolts defeated Barangay Ginebra, 104-91 in game 1 of the 2021-2022 PBA Governors' Cup Finals on Wednesday in front of 12,457 crowd at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.

Allein Maliksi led the Bolts in scoring with 22 points on 8-of-16 shooting including five 3-pointers along with 8 rebounds and 1 assist in 26 minutes of play. Tony Bishop with a solid double-double performance of 29 points (8/19 FG, 2/7 3PT), 12 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and a block.

Finals Game 2 is on Friday, April 8 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
