Barangay Ginebra defeated Meralco Bolts, 99-93 in game 2 to the tie series at 1-1 of the 2021-2022 PBA Governors' Cup Finals on Friday in front of 12,248 crowd at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Justin Brownlee led the Gin Kings and was one assist shy of a triple double of 36 points (12/18 FG, 2/5 3PT, 10/12 FT), 13 rebounds, 9 assists, 2 blocks and 1 steal in 45 minutes of play. Scottie Thompson with a double-double performance of 16 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks.
