TNT Tropang GIGA defeated Magnolia Hotshots, 105-93 to take a 2-0 lead in their best-of-7 series in the 2021 PBA Philippine Cup Finals on Friday at the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) Gym in Bacolor, Pampanga.

Rookie Mikey Williams led TNT with a huge performance of 28 points (10/20 FG, 5/9 3PT, 3/4 FT), 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal in 41 minutes of play. Jayson Castro with a solid game of 16 points (5/8 FG, 2/4 3PT, 4/5 FT), 5 rebounds and an assist while Troy Rosario added 12 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block.

Tropang GIGA spoiled Ian Sangalang's 25 points (11/25 FG, 3/4 FT), 9 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals while Calvin Abueva finished with a double-double of 11 points on 3-of-12 shooting, 11 rebounds and 1 assist.

TNT shot 33/71 or 46% from the field including a 17-of-40 shooting from downtown and went 22-of-27 from the free throw line and committed 21 turnovers in the contest (Magnolia - 34/46 FG, 6/23 3PT, 19/28 FT, 15TO).

Finals Game 3 is on Sunday, October 24 at 4:35pm.
