Ray Parks Jr signs with Japan B.League's Nagoya Diamond Dolphins

The 6-foot-4 PBA star Ray Parks Jr., son of legendary PBA import Bobby Ray Parks Sr., is taking his talents to Japan.

Team Nagoya Diamond Dolphins of Japan Basketball League announced the development on Tuesday, August 24. "We are pleased to announce that we have signed Bobby Ray Parks Jr. from the Philippines for the B.League 2021-22 season. Ray will be registered as the Asian Player Quotas. His contract will become official as soon as he gets his medical clearance."

"New chapter, lets go!!!" the 28-year-old Parks said.

"I am honored to be part of the Dolphins and will do my best to bring victory to the city of Nagoya, I can't wait to see my teammates, staff, and most of all, Dolfami. It is my honor and privilege to represent our team and I can't wait to get out there and compete and do our best to bring home a championship to the city of Nagoya," he added.

Nagoya Diamond Dolphins will begin their campaign on October 2 against the Sun Rockers Shibuya.
