World #16 Slovenia (2-0) defeated world #42 Japan (0-2), 116-81 in the group phase (Group C) of the Men's Basketball 2020 Tokyo Olympics on Thursday at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.

Luka Doncic led Slovenia with 25 points (8/15 FG, 2/8 3PT, 7/10 FT), 7 rebound, 7 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks in 26 minutes of play while Zoran Dragic finished with a solid game of 24 points (8/15 FG), 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block.
